St. Cloud State University was established by the state of Minnesota in 1869 as the Third State Normal School.

First held in 1996 for just College of Science and Engineering students, the event was opened to all students in 1998 as the Student Research Colloquium. Students presented their research orally or as a poster and sponsored by a St. Cloud State faculty member. In 2018, Huskies Showcase was held for the first time, combining the Student Research Colloquium, the Honors Research Colloquium, and the Community Engagement Forum into a one all-day forum for student presentations, posters, performances, and demonstrations.
The 2020 and 2021 events were held entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Huskies Showcase was held in person and online and was the last event held.

This collection contains the records of the Student Research Colloquium and, later, Huskies Showcase. The materials include the proceedings and/or schedule for each event. Each year may include promotional materials for the event, a program for closing ceremonies, and an example of a medal awarded to winners.
This collection does link to the program/proceedings in the Repository @ St. Cloud State from 1998 to 2018. Programs/proceedings after 2018 are located only as born-digital documents in the Repository. They can be found at https://repository.stcloudstate.edu/scsu_huskiesshowcase/proceedingsabstracts/.
